Posting Station is a browser extension that helps you post to Facebook groups you belong to. This policy explains what it does with data.

What the extension stores, and where

Everything Posting Station works with is stored in your own browser, in the extension's storage on your computer:

• the list of Facebook groups and Pages you import,
• the posts and images you write,
• your schedules, campaign history and settings,
• your license key, if you bought a plan.

None of this is sent to ZET8. The extension has no account system and no server that sees your content.

What leaves your browser

• Facebook. The extension acts inside facebook.com in your own logged-in session, the same way you would by hand: it opens groups, fills the post box and presses Post. Your Facebook password is never asked for, read or stored.
• License check. If you activate a key, the key and a short device name (for example "Posting Station on Windows") are sent to LemonSqueezy, our payment provider, to confirm the purchase. Nothing else is sent.
• Layout updates. Once a day the extension may download a small settings file from postingstation.app that tells it how to find Facebook's buttons after Facebook changes its layout. That request carries no data about you.
• Link tracking (optional, paid plans). If you turn on link tracking, the links in your posts are replaced with short links on our tracking domain, and the extension sends us the destination URL, the name of the group and the Page the post went to, so it can show you clicks per group. Turn it off in Settings and nothing about your posts is sent.
• AI drafting (optional). If you paste your own Anthropic API key in Settings, the brief you type, the tone you pick, your business name and voice notes, and the post you ask to improve or translate are sent to api.anthropic.com with that key. Nothing is sent until you press Draft, Improve or Translate. Your key stays on your computer; we never see it and cannot use it.
• Lead Radar (optional, paid plans). When you switch it on, the extension reads the public posts in the groups you choose, inside your own Facebook session, and keeps on your computer the ones that match your phrases: the poster's display name, the post text, the group and the link. Nothing about them is sent anywhere unless you press "Send to HuntCustomer", which creates a contact in your own HuntCustomer account using a sign-in token you obtained in Settings. Your HuntCustomer password is used once to obtain that token and is not stored.
• SocialHub (optional, paid plans). If you connect a SocialHub account, the extension fetches the group drafts you prepared there and reports back which ones were posted. The shared key you paste is stored on your computer.
• Error reports. If the extension hits an unexpected error it may send a report (the error message, the extension version, which part failed) to our error monitoring service. Reports never contain post text, group names, keys or personal data.

What we do not do

We do not sell, share or analyse your data. We do not read your Facebook messages or friends. The extension requests access to facebook.com, and to api.anthropic.com only for the optional AI drafting feature.

Permissions, in plain words

• facebook.com access: to post, share, read your group list, read group feeds for Lead Radar, and switch between your Pages.
• api.anthropic.com access: only for AI drafting, only with your own key, only when you press a draft button.
• Storage: to keep your groups, posts and settings on your computer.
• Alarms: to run schedules at the time you set.
• Tabs and scripting: to open group pages and work inside them.
• Cookies: to switch which of your Pages Facebook is acting as.
• Notifications: to tell you when a campaign finishes or is paused.

Your choices

Remove the extension and all its data goes with it. Settings → Export backup gives you a copy of everything it holds, except keys and sign-in tokens, which are never written into a backup. Settings → Remove key detaches your license from the browser.
